The NOBL idea was born in 2012 after realizing the benefits of carbon fiber rims, but seeing the shortfalls in what was currently on the market. Most rims and wheelsets were focused around dimensions and product weight - shopping by the numbers. Our passion is creating products that use sound building techniques that come alive under aggressive riders and skilled bike handlers.

@@trentvlak they are loud, I personally think the syntace hub sound is tuff as and love it.. I will continue to use these hubs on every bike I own in the future, including RS torque for my road bike, bonus is they warn animals and people that something fast and menacing is heading their way 🤙👍
@@_redpillbill I have a set of Syntace. They're ok. Good preload feature. Good quality of machining. They are loud, and they have a lot of drag when coasting. I didn't buy another set.
@@trentvlak I failed to give you all my details, my w35 syntace rims, syntace MX torque with smooth road tyres 50mm are on my specialised turbo levo ebike pedal assist and my 75 kg combined weight is why I don't feel any drag with hub
Is it normal to have to add a couple psi every few days? If I don’t ride my bike for three or four days I usually have to pump about five psi back into both tires
Yup! It's not a perfect seal. For my mountain bike they usually slowly lose air down to around 10-15psi and then tend to stay there a while, a few psi a day like yours. I always check air before a ride, and if you haven't make sure you have sealant in there it dries up over time, I check once a year at least.
I bough TR35 with lifetime crash replacement, best upgrade I ever got, might get a new bike but will keep using my wheels!!

@nobl wheels: 2 months ago I made one front wheel with the spoke length recommended by the berd spoke calculator. But I think they are too long, to have some room for truing in the future. The nipples are fully treaded. I am thinking to use in the future at least 3mm shorter spokes as the calculator. What is your experience? How many mm shorter than the calculator?

Are these torque caps required for rockshox forks or just a nice to have? My local bike shop recently refused to install a fork/wheel combo on a project bike citing safety concerns. They recommended I get the wheel with a hub that has torque caps, otherwise I would run the risk of snapping the axle. I think a lot of Trek bike's with Rockshox forks use Bontrager hubs (no torque caps) so I am confused on what to believe.
Great question. Per RockShox's own recommendations, torque caps are specifically designed for their suspension forks (and not any others) but not 100% required. You should be able to use standard end caps, no problem.

Would you say it's worthwhile going brass over alloy for MTB in tropical climate areas, where almost every ride is a wet ride (but not exposed to road salt)?

Do the Hydras come in J spokes configuration? Or is it only straight pull?
We actually only carry the i9 Hydras in J-bend, not straight-pull!
